Ghost Walk Brings Rochester's History Back to Life
AQ Students Star in Live Theatre Event
View all news

Several current and former AQ students will bring Rochester's history back to life as actors in the popular Ghost Walk live theatre event, October 16, 17, 23 & 24.

Sponsored by the Landmark Society, the Ghost Walk offers the drama, excitement and entertainment of a night at the theatre, all while enjoying a stroll through the autumn leaves on a beautiful October night. At each stop on the walk, the actors perform their scene from the front door or porch of an architecturally-significant home. This year, the walk features several all-new stories, and a return of some past favorites.

Mrs. Mary Krickmire has served as Artistic Director and Costumer for the event for the past 14 years. Seniors Evan Nobriega, Bridget Blakely, and Andrew Kent, and Brian Burke '88 and Spencer Christiano '05 are all members of the cast.

For those who dare, tours embark from (NEW LOCATION!) The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word, 597 East Avenue, every 10 minutes from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Oct. 16, 17, 23 & 24. Lantern-bearing guides lead participants under the cloak of darkness to each performance then back to the church for Halloween refreshments and a boutique bursting with scary trinkets.

Tickets are $15 in advance – members may purchase discounted tickets of $10 in advance. If available, tickets will be $18 at the door. To reserve tickets for a group of 8 or more, call the Landmark Society at 546-7029 x15 and ask about a group tour time reservation.

Details can be found on the Landmark Society website.
